Marmalade obsession

I have now made 50 jars of orange marmalade. Stop! I am hanging up my apron for a few weeks before 300kg of tomatoes make their way into my kitchen...

About Me

I am middle aged. My partner is Stuart. I have no children of my own but I do share 2 stepchildren and 4 nieces and nephews. I love words. In 2008, my partner and I purchased a 200 year old stone house and 5 acres of forest surrounding it in Piemonte, Italy. We spent the next year dreaming about it before we tossed our global careers to the wind and moved there. We knew we didn't have enough money to last long but we wanted to test our dream to see if it really was everything we thought it would be. It was. Far too quickly our money ran out so we returned to the Pacific and worked 2 years in Australia and 1 year in Papua New Guinea. We have recently counted our pennies again, resigned and returned to our little slice of history in Italy.
